Care and installation
Maintenance and care
Wipe spills quickly, especially acids such as lemon, wine, vinegar and many bathroom cleaners, which etch the surface.
Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and reseal periodically; honed surfaces show etching less than polished ones.
Installation considerations
- 1View and approve the actual slabs or a batch sample before cutting; natural stone varies from block to block.
- 2Agree the vein direction and any book-matching on a layout drawing with the fabricator.
- 3Seal before grouting and again after installation, using a sealer suited to the stone.
