About Tourou Japanese Light 02.
The Tourou light borrows the profile of the stone lanterns that line Japanese shrine and temple paths, with a broad shade set over its upper section. It is made from Japanese washi paper using the lantern-making methods of Gifu, and a spiral strip pattern in the paper softens and diffuses the light. The design is by Shigeyuki Hasegawa for Time & Style.
