Maintenance & Care
Remove dust with a soft brush or cloth. Clean using water and a mild, pH-neutral product when required. Avoid abrasive tools and acidic cleaners that could alter the surface.
Interior surfaces exposed to moisture, grease or frequent contact should be protected with a suitable penetrating sealer. Inspect and renew the protective treatment according to the supplier’s guidance.

- Coordinate board widths, joints and grain direction.
- Plan tie holes and construction joints carefully.

Concrete has a significant embodied-carbon impact, but its durability can support a long service life. Reduce its impact by specifying lower-carbon mixes, supplementary cementitious materials, local aggregates and reusable or responsibly sourced timber formwork.
