Barde vanVoltt is an award-winning Amsterdam-based interior design and architecture firm founded by Bart van Seggelen and Valérie Boerma. Together described as interpreters, fluent in spaces, stories and design, the duo crafts unexpected interiors that translate the specific desires and lifestyle of each client into spaces that feel entirely and unmistakably their own. The studio works across private residences and boutique hotels internationally, and is now leading its own in-house development programme of properties available to own or rent, each embodying the studio's design signature and commitment to local connection and personalised experience.

Barde vanVoltt builds interiors around a single idea: that a space should speak to the person who lives in it so specifically and so completely that it could not belong to anyone else. This conviction drives every decision the studio makes, from the architectural reconfiguration of a space through to the selection of the detail, the colour and the one singular piece that makes a room finally feel finished.
The studio's client work spans boutique hotel and private residential commissions across the Netherlands and internationally, each characterised by the same creative ambition and the same attentiveness to the specific character and desires of the client behind the brief. A long-standing relationship with Wesley ter Haar, founder of MediaMonks, speaks to the kind of client Barde vanVoltt attracts and the depth of trust the studio builds over time.
In parallel with client work, the studio has launched an in-house developments programme, designing and delivering its own properties that embody the Barde vanVoltt design signature, creative lifestyle and commitment to local connection. These properties are available to own or rent and represent an evolution of the studio's practice from service provider to design-led developer.
The studio also produces a Collection, a curated selection of objects and pieces that reflect the design thinking behind the client work and make the Barde vanVoltt aesthetic accessible independently of a full project commission.
