Flos
Brescia, Italy
Flos produces residential, architectural and outdoor lighting of the highest international standard, working with a roster of designers whose names define the history and the future of the discipline simultaneously. Achille Castiglioni, whose Toio, Arco and Taccia remain in continuous production decades after their creation, established the creative foundation the brand still builds on today. Jasper Morrison, Michael Anastassiades, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Philippe Starck, Marcel Wanders, Patricia Urquiola, Konstantin Grcic, Ron Gilad, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, Piero Lissoni and Antonio Citterio are among the designers whose work has extended and deepened the Flos creative universe across every decade of the brand's existence.
The current collection spans table, floor, pendant, wall, ceiling, portable and outdoor categories, organised into named product families that give designers and specifiers an intuitive way to navigate a range of extraordinary breadth and consistent quality. The Bellhop family, portable and rechargeable, has become a modern classic of the table lamp category. The IC Lights family by Michael Anastassiades brings a jewellery-like precision to pendant and floor applications. The Glo-Ball family by Jasper Morrison remains one of the most quietly authoritative lighting designs of the past thirty years. The Coordinates, Cocoon, Captain Flint, Arrangements and Noctambule families each offer a distinct formal vocabulary for designers building complex, layered lighting environments.
The most recent collection additions include the Seki-Han by Tobia Scarpa, a reimagining of an archival Scarpa design that demonstrates the brand's continuing engagement with its own creative history, and the Luce Cilindrica by Ronan Bouroullec, a piece of modern enchantment that adds a new formal register to the Bouroullec family within the Flos collection. Both were presented at Milan Design Week 2026 alongside the broader Flos programme, one of the most anticipated events in the European design calendar.

Flos has been creating new languages of light for over sixty years. Founded in Merano in 1962 and now headquartered in Brescia, the Italian lighting house has built one of the most significant and enduring bodies of work in the history of design, producing luminaires that sit at the intersection of technology, emotion, research and poetry. From the Arco floor lamp, an icon that has defined the living room for six decades, to the most recent collaborations with the world's most inventive designers, Flos has never once confused illumination with design. For Flos, light is a material. A tool for shaping how a space feels, how people move through it and how it lives in the memory long after you have left it.
