Made for the wall

Furniture · Dining Room

For a Bauhaus villa on the banks of the Alster, the HARRI bench was developed as a bespoke wall-mounted piece in collaboration with the interior design studio be.interior. At 4.20 metres long and upholstered in a fabric selected specifically for the project, it forms a continuous backbone to the dining area. Extending across almost the entire length of the wall, the custom-made bench brings architecture and furniture together as a single element. Without a supporting frame, the floor remains clear and the long seat retains a sense of lightness and precision. Together with the CALA table, it creates a dining setting defined by the proportions of the room rather than simply placed within it.
